The Sisters of St. Francis asked me to paint a painting of the Blessed Mother Marianne Cope.  That's it in the way back during the 125th Anniversary of the Sister coming to Hawaii.

Home Accents - I don't just paint on canvas.  I also paint murals or what I call 'home accents'.  Paintings on walls that help accentuate your home and make it feel like another world.  I also do kids rooms.  Shown is a Winnie the Pooh theme of Tigger and Eeyore on a bridge.  The crib is going to sit directly below the bridge so they're looking down on baby Ascher.

Swimming in shark infested waters may seem scary but we do it everyday with all kinds of predators in life these days.  This painting is not meant to bring about fear but is meant to remind us of what we can overcome when we let go of the fear.

My brother Walfrido taught me how to paint.  He learned it from my father Edgardo F. Garcia.  I was a late bloomer in our family but have been doing double time to try to catch up to them.  It's hard to be the rookie.  Here my brother shows why he's the tops in my book.
