"Umauau Falls" on the Big Island.  I went ziplining here and this is the view from one of the platforms we zipped off. 

Laupahoehoe on the Big Island.  A tsunami devastated this area in 1961 I believe.  Many children were killed as well as adults because a school was set along this area.

I was on the Big Island earlier last month.  Here were some pics.

The Peggy Chun Gallery has been gracious enough to let me display my work for one month from Feb.19th-March 18th.  Come by if you're in town.  It's in the China town area on Nuuanu Ave. and Beretania.

I will be doing my first One Man Show at the Peggy Chun Gallery in Downtown Honolulu on Nuuanu at Marks Garage for a month starting Feb. 19th.  Catch me at the First Friday in March for the unveiling of several of my latest series.  If you're in town, please come by and say 'hi'.

I will be on the the mainland from Feb. 9th-18th.  I'll be in Lake Tahoe for the Valentine's weekend for my brother's art show and snowboarding.  If you're there, come snowboarding with me.

I will be at Kuloko Arts of Hawaii from 6-9pm on Jan. 13th and 27th.  They are featuring the Honu or the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle this month.  I will have new originals and prints available.

This is the painting I'm donating for the Assets School Fundraiser on March 12, 2010.  Check it out as it will be held at the Sheraton Waikiki from 6-10pm.  It will be up for silent auction. 

 It is 10 x 20 inches and is titled "Beginning" and retails for $625.00.

I went to the Adult Friends for Youth event at the Sheraton Waikiki on Nov. 28th.  It was the first time I donated a painting to this organization although my brother's company Heart Rock Productions has been doing it for years.  It was a touching and memorable event with a huge turnout. 

I'm going to be at Kuloko on Nov. 25th from 6-9pm.

The winner of my "Turtle Bay" tag contest.  It has an animation that for some reason I can't get to work.  Go to the website to see it in action.

I liked the color of the frame as well as the 3-D effect that was done.

I like the border design as well as the use of the fish on the border design.

There's an animation that isn't working on this that must be seen. 

I like the effect around the image circle.  Looks like noise or distort.  Nice touch with the fade out on the border.

I'll be in Makawao Fine Art Gallery on Maui for July 4th for the Plein Air Art Festival.  I'll be demonstrating from 1-5pm. 

I will be in Chinatown for the 1st Friday Artwalk July 3rd.  I'll be between Smith St. and Maunakea in the Courtyard.  I'll have a collection of prints and originals.

I will be at Britton Gallery for Haleiwa's Last Saturday Artwalk.  The theme is Japanese so I'm planning on bringing a couple of Koi & Lotus paintings. 

I will be at Duraco's in the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center painting live next to a live band on April 29th from 6-9pm.


This is a picture of the set up at Duracos.  The white square thing in the middle right is my canvas glaring off the lights.  The band is in the shadow to my left.

I will be at Dave's Ice Creme at Espresso & Creme at Ala Moana Shopping mall from 12-4pm on Saturday November 29th doing a paint demonstration.  All artwork will be 10% off at that time. 

I will be at the 125th Anniversary celebration of the Sisters of St. Francis arriving in Hawaii with Mother Marianne and 6 of her fellow sisters at Our Lady of Peace church on Bishop St.  I just finished doing the portrait of the Blessed Mother which will be unveiled to the public then. 

That's the painting behind the bishop and alter.  This I must say is the crowning achievement of my career to date. 

I will be in Hawaii Kai Shopping Center for an event at Serenity and Massage on Oct. 11 from 4-6pm.   Door prizes and giveaways will be given. 

I'll be doing the last Saturday of Sept on the 27th at Britton Gallery in Haleiwa from 6-8pm.  It's my first time for this once a month event in historic Haleiwa town on the north shore of O'ahu.

I'll be doing my first wedding painting at Lanikuhonua in Ko Olina for a friends wedding on Sept.6.  I'll be painting a sunset scene as the wedding progresses throughout the day.  Hopefully it'll be a gorgeous day and I won't have to fight the elements. 

I'll be going to another wedding in Cali from Aug. 4-19th for one of my best friends.  It should be another exciting wedding. 

I went to Cali July 26-30 for my friends Mike and Grace's wedding.  It was a last second trip but well worth it.  Love still exists.  I witnessed it.

I'm planning on a pilgrimage to Molokai June 7 to do some studying for my commission of the Blessed Mother Marianne portrait. 

This was the painting I did at the Habilitat fundraiser.  It's called "Baby Steps".  It was auctioned off during the live auction.  I also donated another original as well as my dads for the silent auction. 

I'll be at the annual Habilitat fundraiser in Kaneohe at Windward Community College on May 17th doing a painting demonstration. 

I'll be appearing at the I Love Kailua Festival in Kailua on April 27 at the Kailua Island Treasures.  See you there!
